About us

Founded in 1936, Leicester Squash and Racketball Club is one of the UK’s longest-established squash clubs. We are a proud members’ club, owned by our members, and run by our dedicated volunteer committee and chairman.

Our club features five squash courts with a gallery viewing area, providing excellent facilities for both casual play and competitive matches. We welcome players of all ages, abilities and experience levels. Whether you’re completely new to the sport or an experienced competitor, we offer something for everyone, including our Junior Academy, beginner coaching, racketball, doubles squash, social mixers and competitive team squash. Throughout the year we also host tournaments, leagues and club events, giving members plenty of opportunities to play, improve and get involved.

Off the court, members can relax in our licensed bar and social area, enjoy a game of pool, or make use of the club gym. We offer a range of membership options to suit everyone, including full playing, social and gym memberships, making it easy to become part of the club in a way that fits your lifestyle.

We’re a competitive bunch when we step onto the court, but we believe just as strongly in fair play, sportsmanship and creating an enjoyable environment for everyone.
